Psychology Today on our Hope and Faith Healing Concept - Don't Block Your Blessings

Psychology Today on our Hope and Faith Healing Concept

I love this piece in Psychology Today by Mendi Baron the CEO of Ignite Teen Treatment, Eden Treatment and Hope Street.

Baron writes “I see faith and the power to overcome. I see deep rooted belief in blessings and amazing results. I know it can work not because I know HOW it works but because I see THAT it does.”

He goes on to quote a deep and important teaching by the Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch (1789–1866) a.k.a. Tzemach Tzedek which was expounded on by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson (1902-1994).

“Tracht gut, vet zein gut” which translates as “Think good and it will be good”. Literally the act of believing in the blessing IS the vessel for the blessing. Getting your mind, body, and spirit into the mode of preparing for and accepting the blessing, and living with the complete faith in its success, is the means by which you can actually gain that blessing. The converse is also true, making it all that much more important to focus on the latter.

** Baron will be presenting in the healing room at the second Don’t Block Your Blessings festival this February 14th from 6-9pm PST.
